Tatura Rotary Club was paid a visit by District Governor of 9790 Brian Peters last month.
The governor visited the group to present Paul Harris Fellowship Awards to two worthy Rotary Club members.
The award is one of the highest in Rotary and is given to people for their ongoing commitment to the club.
Carol Neave accepted one of the awards for her long-serving role as the co-ordinator of the club's Meals on Wheels community project.
Sam Lolicato accepted the second award for his work with the club since joining in 2002.
Among many roles, Mr Lolicato has been both the secretary and president for the club and organises the ride in the Tatura 200 event.
He has spent the past 12 months volunteering in Cambodia.
The club handed over a $500 cheque to Mr Peters to go towards assisting Rotary's exchange program.
