IT HAS been a year of milestones for Kevin Andrews — firstly celebrating a diamond anniversary with his wife Beryl and then 45 years as a justice of the peace (JP).
Kevin was also a bail justice for 14 years, however he had to retire at age 75 as it’s common practice.
The now 84-year-old has been one of the local go-to’s when it comes to signing statutory declarations and verifying other important documents.
And he said he’s still fairly busy.
“I get a lot of calls, being a JP and being listed online alphabetically means I’m one of the first ones people call,” he said.
“It’s a service to the community and a lot of people require it, this letter just means I’ve been around a while,” he laughed.
