The girls came runner-up to the Wodonga Wolves with the game going into over time, just falling short by one point. Coach Amy Nicholas said the girls were still extremely happy with the result.

Benalla Bushrangers’ A-reserve side enjoyed a good win against Greta playing at the Benalla Gardens on Saturday. Batting first in the one-day game, openers Ash Ellis and Simon Holmes put on 23 before Ellis was trapped LBW for 22. Despite the loss of Christian DeFazio cheaply, the Bushies managed to finish on 137 from their allocated 36 overs. Justin Saker top scored with 44 in his debut for the club, while Holmes made 22.
Winton Motor Raceway turned it on last weekend for round four action of the Hi-Tec Drift 2018 Allstars Series, with series leader Beau Yates taking out the top honours.
