This week the Tatura Guardian caught up with the baby show king from Lagozzino’s Top Pub Tatura.
Baby Sebastian Jaymes Lee from Shepparton and his mother Sara Lee have entered in three baby competitions including Baby Show Time and the latest show at Lagozzino’s.
Lagozzino’s in Tatura has hosted a number of baby shows during the years to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
This year Sebastian was crowned King, Mummy’s Prince and runner up to 13 other titles.
Mrs Lee said she was thrilled when her son was announced king.
‘‘I was so happy for him and so proud of him,’’ Mrs Lee said.
Mrs Lee said she and her husband David had received compliments for Sebastian from friends and family.
‘‘We think he’s a bit of a cutie and we’ve had lots of compliments on him, so we thought why not, we’ll put him in a baby show and see how he goes,’’ she said. ‘‘We enjoyed the first one so it’s just snowballed,’’ she said.
Mrs Lee said she would continue with the local competitions and was looking forward to the next one.
‘‘It’s a bit of fun, a good day out and you get to meet the mums and a few faces,’’ she said.
The baby show raised more than $1000 for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Lagozzino’s owner Jenny Lagozzino took to Facebook to say all the children were amazing and well behaved.
‘‘It made judging a terribly hard job that we struggled picking winners as we had way too many little cuties in front of us,’’ Mrs Lagozzino said.
Mrs Lagozzino said all the parents must be congratulated for the beautiful way they dressed the children.
‘‘They all looked gorgeous, especially all the boys in their little suits,’’ Mrs Lagozzino said.
