Log splitter stolen from front yard

Overnight on Wednesday, May 16, a Millers Falls-branded 40-tonne log splitter was stolen from the front yard of a Tatura East property.

The theft was facilitated by cutting the front fencing of the property and driving a vehicle to the log splitter before towing it off the property.

This follows a red coloured 40-tonne wood splitter being stolen from Hogan St, Tatura earlier in the month.

■If you have seen a similar wood splitter in suspicious circumstances please contact Senior Constable Aitken at Tatura Police Station on phone 5824 3099. Alternatively you can pass on your information via Crime Stoppers, phone 1800 333 000.
