The GV veteran golfers played at Rich River on Monday, with 123 golfers enjoying the beautifully prepared east course.
Once again, John Keller represented Hill Top well, winning A-grade with 40 stableford points, following his championship semi-final win the previous day.
Freddo McMahon and Ross Kelly each won a consolation ball.
Bruce Gross won Tuesday’s stableford competition with 38 points off a 13 handicap.
Two visitors from Neangar Park featured, with Brad Guan runner-up with 34 points off a six handicap while Malcolm Barnes won a ball for his 34, playing off a four handicap.
Garry Reese won nearest-the-pin on the ninth hole.
The four-ball stroke on Thursday was won by Bob Hunter and Allan McGrath with a nett 60, with Rocci and Lou Villani runners-up on 61.
After scoring nett 29 on the front nine holes, Hunter had pars on the 12th, 14th, 15th and 16th and McGrath had a 3m putt on the 18th for a nett one to deny the Villani brothers by one.
Bryan Miller and Glen Pearce each won a ball for their 64 and Joe De Ieso won nearest-the-pin.
IGA Chook Run
John Bunn won Thursday’s competition with nett 34 and Dave Roberts was runner-up with 35.
Josie De Ieso and Les Nation had 37s, John Hayward 38, Sheryl Curran 39, Dale Clarke 40, Jan Coe 41 and Dave Roberts also won nearest-the-pin.
Saturday’s stroke round is for the June GMCU Monthly Medal and it is the first qualifying round for the Winter Cup.

The following weekend is the Queen’s Birthday Weekend Tournament with stableford on Saturday, two-person gentsomes on Sunday and four-ball stableford on Monday.
The Victorian Par-3 Championship will be played at Ky-Parkland from Wednesday, June 6 to Sunday, June 10.
