The GVVA Tatura tour group.

On Sunday, May 6, a group from the Goulburn Valley Vietnam Veterans Association toured some interesting spots around the Tatura area.

The group stopped at Mactier Gardens to visit the statue of Robert Mactier, the German Cemetery, Cussen Park and Tatura Museum and enjoyed morning tea at the Tatura Bakery and lunch at the middle pub.

We were fortunate at the Memorial Park to have Phyllis Mactier, who was responsible for the booklet on the story of Robert Mactier, give an interesting presentation.

The display at the museum was admired by all.

Tatura is fortunate to have an exhibition that conveys the many facets of its history.

A good day was had by all.
