Auction goes off with a bang

December 13, 2017

First prize: Jenny and Frank Lagozino, with Rotary Club president Simon Pogue , and Jenny’s granddaughter Kalais Dee.

Rotary raffle: Auctioneer Rod Schubert with president Simon Pogue keep the night running smoothly.

Top Pub’s Jenny and Frank Lagozino were the bigger winners of the Tatura Rotary Club’s $100 Raffle Draw, taking out the first-prize of travel voucher valued at $3000, while a second prize travel voucher valued at $500 went to last year’s winner John Anderson.

There was a great attendance of about 50, who enjoyed great food and it was a fantastic fun-filled night.

The Rotary club would like to thank those who supported the club by purchasing tickets, with all profits going to community projects.

The club members look forward to their next big event on the Rotary calendar — the Art Show during the long weekend in June next year.

President Simon would like to take the opportunity of thanking all those involved in the raffle, and the community in general, for their support during the past year, and wished everyone a happy and joyous Christmas.
