Ute stolen

Police are appealing to the public for information following the theft of a white 2016 Isuzu DMAX ute from Seven Creeks Estate, Kialla, on Monday night.

‘‘The offender/s were then unsuccessful when they used the vehicle in a failed attempt to ram access into a Tatura Supermarket in the early hours of (Tuesday) morning,’’ the Greater Shepparton Eyewatch page reported.

Police said the store bollards successfully repelled the vehicle and they were searching for a vehicle with rear-end damage, including a broken tail-light.

The vehicle is also distinctive with business name decals on display.

Caught speeding

A Shepparton man, 33, was caught speeding north along Mooroopna-Murchison Rd, Tatura, on Monday night last week.

Tatura police said the motorcycle rider was alleged to have been travelling at 121km/h in a 100km/h zone about 5.30pm.

He was fined $317 and gained three demerit points.
