Tatura Lions to the rescue

November 08, 2017

Tatura Lions Cub is taking orders for fresh Christmas trees. Pictured is Sharon Hopkins with trees sold last year.

If you are a person who enjoys a traditional Christmas celebration and are not happy with a Black Forest tree or an Atlantic tree or even a Mayfair tree for Christmas — you can rest assured. Lions are again selling beautiful fresh Christmas trees, that bring the wonderful aroma of pine, along with childhood memories and the spirit of Christmas.

Secure your tree early by pre-ordering it today; phone Sharon on 0416494476.

All sizes available and we deliver to the local area for the small cost of $10.

Watch out for our team selling these on the first three Saturdays in December from 9am until noon in Hogan St opposite the Tatura Police Station.

We will also sell Christmas cakes and puddings on these days, but I warn you they go quickly (so best to pre order these as well).

They make great and practical gifts and we still have some lovely Centenary Gold Tinned Cakes for sale.

■For orders, phone Mike on 0408546948.

Mark in your diary December 13, Mactier Park ‘‘Carols by Candlelight’’.

Lions will again be hosting this amazing community evening for all to attend.
