Tatura recruit Connor Hayes showcased his talents at Howley Oval on Friday in the club's practice match against Bendigo United. Hayes smashed 14 boundaries on his way to 91 before being dismissed.

Tatura gained some valuable pre-season experience with a practice match against Bendigo United at Howley Oval on Friday as a warm-up for the new Cricket Shepparton season.

In a hard-fought match, Tatura finished up with a competitive total of 210 against a quality Bendigo side.

Tatura’s Haisman Shield season starts on Saturday at Howley Oval against Numurkah.
