Fun for the family

Tatura Winter Market organisers Tom Boocock, Petra de Kleijn, Kirsty Richardson and daughter Amelie, 2, and Leeane Button.

Tatura’s Community Market is on again this weekend, so head down to St Mary’s Hall in Hogan St for a great family day out.

Tatura Community Market manager Leeane Button said previous markets held at the new venue had been successful and organisers looked to build on that success.

With Strathbogie Brewers set to provide the market demonstration, Ms Button said it was a perfect time to unwind over a cold drink.

‘‘Come and have a drink and sit on the lawn at St Mary’s Hall,’’ she said.

Ms Button said there would be a variety of children’s activities on offer to entertain youngsters while the adults relaxed.

‘‘We’ll have kids colouring-in and much more,’’ she said.

‘‘And there will be a Lego display.’’

Ms Button said the usual range of craft, design and produce stalls would be there.

‘‘What better way to spend a Saturday morning?’’ she said.

■The Tatura Community Market will run from 9am to 1pm at St Mary’s Hall, Hogan St, Tatura.
