Sacred Heart Tatura celebrated Father’s Day by filling the bellies of family and friends at a special breakfast and Mass celebration.

Sacred Heart Primary School principal Matt Cameron said there was a sea of fathers during the morning with the school providing a cooked breakfast.

‘‘Egg and bacon muffins, sausages, juice and coffee were the orders of the day, with many fathers catching up with each other prior to heading off to work and other places,’’ Mr Cameron said.

‘‘Over 12 dozen eggs were cooked by staff members on the barbecue.’’

Mr Cameron said many fathers stayed at school for the morning, taking the opportunity to visit classrooms and celebrate Mass.

‘‘The morning was a true celebration of all the wonderful people we have in our lives, especially our fathers,’’ he said.
