Kids activities were on offer including face painting.

Tatura Community House held its second winter market recently, offering a reprieve from the cold for locals.

Held in the new venue of St Mary’s Hall in Hogan St, the Winter Market took place on Saturday, August 26.

Tatura Community House manager Leeane Button has encouraged the community to make sure they head along to the next market in September as warmer weather approaches.

‘‘It’s the perfect time to get out and about and enjoy spring sunshine,’’ she said.

The market will be held on Saturday, September 23, from 9am to 1pm at St Mary’s Hall.

‘‘We’ll have the usual demonstrations, food, produce, craft and family fun,’’ she said.
