Tatura pop sensation Anthony Lucas arrived in Los Angeles last week on a Qantas Flight from Melbourne.
Leaving his family behind and making what may just be the biggest step in his singing career, Lucas wrote in a Facebook post that he could not describe the surreal moment.
The 18-year-year old is set to record two original songs with Indasoul Records, a company that poached him on his prior trip to the United States in 2014, when he competed in televised talent completion The World Championships Of Performing Arts (WCOPA).
Lucas, who has been singing since six years of age, is a well recognised performer in the Goulburn Valley.
On the agenda while in the US, Anthony will be performing, recording and shooting music all around Los Angeles, the final product set to be released by the end of the year. He will also do a private photo shoot to publicise his brand.
Former recording rap-artist of RCA Records, Marc Williams is Lucas’ executive producer and production director.
William’s former label branded popular recording artists known these days as Miley Cyrus, Usher and Pink.
While Lucas’ song composer has been in the music business for many years, and written for big celebrity names such as Beyonce, his executives and production assistants all know the music industry well, and have gained the confidence of the Australian singer who is set to release his music at the end of the year. It will be exclusively available on Spotify, iTunes and other music sources.
Lucas is set to stay in Los Angeles until the end of the month, travelling back to Australia after completing production of both studio recordings and music videos.
