Happenings in event advertising for Tatura will soon be clearer, after Greater Shepparton City Council announced three new event signs for the town.
And when they’re not being used, the council hopes for them to double as town entrances.
They can be booked by the community for events in the town, the council said.
‘‘This project was a priority of the Tatura Community Plan,’’ a release from the council said.
The new signs are on Dhurringile Rd, Ross St near Cussen Park and the Murchison Tatura Rd, near the Racecourse.
‘‘There are two positions on each sign,’’ the council said.
‘‘When there are no events displayed, the signs welcome people to Tatura as the home of Tatura Park and International Dairy Week with images depicting The Tatura Museum, the Robert Mactier VC Cross Memorial Garden and Cussen Park, increasing their tourism profile and the amazing product Tatura has to offer.’’
Places on the signs can be booked via the council’s website community billboard booking page.
