Tatura came out strong and fast in the first quarter with the strength coming from shooters Olivia and Chloe.

During the second quarter the girls lost some of their momentum and Kyabram pulled ahead.

Kiara created many turnovers to the team’s advantage and Steph stepped into goal attack and helped to create passages of play.

It was another week of good defence by Georgie, who got her hands on too many loose balls.

Final score: Tatura 29 was defeated by Kyabram 42.

Best players: Kiara Gagliardi, Steph Hicks and Georgie Devine.

On a wet day, Kyabram was able to keep its composure and maintain accurate shooting.

Tatura kept trying hard and fought out a tough four quarters.

Despite the Doggies having four girls out, they worked hard for rebounds and moved the ball down the court well.

A-grade

Tatura played an outstanding game against the benchmark of the Goulburn Valley Netball League — Kyabram.

The girls’ efforts saw them up by two goals through the first quarter to only lose the quarter by two.

The girls continued to match Kyabram with everyone playing their part and contesting everything which saw more scoring opportunities for goalers Roey and Emma, who combined beautifully in the ring.

Elle, Taylor and Jaquie worked hard to bring the ball down the court and assisted Molly and Maddie in putting the opposition under pressure.

Tatura’s biggest losing quarter was only three goals, which resulted in a 10-goal loss.

The girls should be extremely proud of themselves.

Final scores: Tatura 28 was defeated by Kyabram 38.

Best players: Elle Henderson, Taylor Rokahr and Maddie Davis.
