The Tatura Indoor Bowls Club has completed its club championship finals for the 2017 season.

In the Ladies’ Championship Frances Britten took out her second title win, defeating reigning champ Freda Clement.

Tatura Indoor Bowls Club president Keith Smith took out his first club championship when he defeated Laurie Noonan in the Men’s Club Championship final.

The Goulburn Valley Indoor Bias Bowls Association conducts an event named in honour of Goulburn Valley Life Member Laurie Noonan and that event is played between the Goulburn Valley Association’s club champions with one representative from each club.

Frances Britten defeated Keith Smith to go on to represent the Tatura Club in the Laurie Noonan event.

The pennant season is coming to a conclusion with Tatura scraping into the second division play-off finals which start next week.

The Goulburn Valley presentation night will be held on August 14 at Mooroopna Golf Club and members are requested to indicate their attendance.

Entry from members is also required for the club pairs and the annual Jack Williams Shield.
