Tatura played one of its best four-quarter games for the season, leading the game from start to finish.

It was a great team effort by all players who took the court. The girls worked hard to set up the win in the first half. Jacquie James, Emilia Howley, Rachel Thomson and Taylor Rokahr all pushed themselves and ran well through the midcourt where they displayed accurate passing and applied intense defensive pressure at all times.

At three-quarter-time, coach Molly Boyle asked the girls to finish off the game as they had played the previous three quarters, which they did, shooting 17 goals to Mansfield’s six.

Tatura ran out the winner by 25 goals, its third win for the season.

Score: Tatura 46 defeated Mansfield 21.
