Winners of the 4BBB Stableford event Liz Mulcahy and Di Day.

The 4BBB Stableford event, sponsored by the Victoria Hotel, was also the Royal Women’s Hospital Event.

A generous donation of $100 was made to the Royal Women’s Hospital from contributions made by the players in the event.

Liz Mulcahy and Di Day won the day with 42 points on a countback from Robyn Downs and Elaine Dunk.

The ball winners were Sheryl Curran/Sue Turnbull 42, Lyn Flett/Janine Morgan and Deb Reilly/Judy Baker 41 points.

Nearest-the-pins went to Liz Mulcahy on the third (Gallery Café), Terri Wangeman on the sixth (Tatura Hot Bread), Joyce Tavener on the ninth (Café Alofa), and Beryl Home on the 14th (One4One Café).

Golf lessons

This Sunday, July 9, at 1pm there will be one-hour lessons conducted by experienced Hill Top lady golfers.

Lessons are $5 per person and are open to members and non-members, with proceeds going to ladies golf development.

Beginners are especially invited to come along and learn the wonderful game of golf.

Golf is a great way to exercise and socialise.

Equipment is provided but if you have clubs bring them along.

Coming event

The Junior/Adult 4BBB Open — each pair must consist of one junior and one adult. This will be held on Sunday, October 29, at Hill Top. Keep this date free, more details later.

Stroke: Sponsor: IJ’s Hair Design Mooroopna, Glad Robbins Qualifier, third round putting. Nine-hole Event: Stroke.
