Tatura put up one of its best and most defensive games of the season.
The girls put pressure on Shepparton Bears for four quarters and were able to get plenty of turnovers.
Emma Ryan and Roey Johnstone battled hard against a very strong defensive duo and shot the team’s highest score for the season. It was an impressive full-team effort.
Final scores: Shepparton Bears 61 defeated Tatura 42.

Once again Tatura was slow out of the blocks, allowing the Bears to have a 17-goal lead at quarter- time.
Despite the efforts of Tatura defenders Alison Roest and Fin Smith, the Bears continued their accurate shooting for goal.
Tahlitha Samkakai was Tatura’s most accurate in the goal circle.
Coach Emma Ryan made some positional changes at half-time which saw Tatura improve its scoring percentage in the second half and reduce the Bears’ scoring.
However, the Bears were comfortable winners by 51 goals.

Tatura came out firing and got out to a three-goal lead in the first quarter.
However, the Bears gained the momentum to take over the lead.
Despite the Bulldogs getting any rebound they could in defence, they were unable to stop the Bears as they dominated the second half.
Final scores: Shepparton Bears 59 defeated Tatura 6.

17 and under
Tatura’s defenders Kiara Gagliardi, Jorja Hoskin and Georgie Devine tried hard all game but were outclassed by a better team on the day.
Some Tatura players were absent due to a school trip, allowing TNA players Caitlin Pogue and Clartia Miranda to see what GVN netball is all about.
Minutes into the first quarter, Maeve Kerrins received a season-ending injury.
We wish Maeve all the best with her recovery and we’re sure she will be continuing her vocal support from the sidelines.
