Following the well-attended session in Tatura, Greater Shepparton City Council chief executive Peter Harriott and Mayor Dinny Adem will conduct further drop-in sessions in the coming months.

Residents in Merrigum will have the opportunity to make an appointment to meet with Mr Harriott and Cr Adem to discuss ideas and issues next month.

The session will be held from 9am to noon on Friday, June 16.

There will also be sessions in Mooroopna on Friday, May 19, and Congupna on Friday, July 21.

Greater Shepparton Mayor Dinny Adem encouraged residents to take the opportunity to discuss their topics directly.

‘‘This initiative is part of our councillor engagement program and I hope community members take the opportunity to meet with the chief executive officer and I,’’ Cr Adem said.

■To make an appointment for any of these sessions, phone the chief executive and mayor’s office on (03)58329700 and provide an outline of what you would like to discuss. Bookings must be made three days prior to the relevant session.
