Blue disco turns green

March 17, 2017

The Tatura Blue Light Disco is on this Friday.

Kids, it’s time to get your best green top hat, ginger beard and green suit out this Friday for the Tatura Blue Light Disco.

To be held on St Patrick’s Day — March 17 — children are encouraged to dress up in all things green or come dressed as a leprechaun.

Blue Light committee member Kate Stanton said it was the second disco to be held under the new committee of management after the success of December’s Blue Light Disco.

‘‘We’re thinking of holding them every two months,’’ Ms Stanton said.

Victory Hall will be filled with six to 13-year-old Tatura children during the new timeslot of 6pm to 9pm.

‘‘Come dressed in anything green,’’ Ms Stanton said.

‘‘It will be lots of fun and there are great prizes to be won.’’

Entry to the disco costs $7.
