Less than a month to go.
Mark Sunday, March 5, in your diaries and come and enjoy TatFest at Mactier Park.
There will be a new cheesecake competition; Tatura Milk will supply the cheese to a maximum of 10 entries, with the organising, running and judging of the cakes to be run by the Anglican Church ladies.
The cheesecakes will be in the Senior Citizens Hall along with the 10 best ‘‘Why I love Tatura’’ videos, the primary school art, the model train layout, and food.
The list of variety stalls is growing by the day and includes NatureSecretSpice, jams and pickles, steel firepits, a gothic horror shop, jewellery, hats and sunglasses, ice-cream, Balinese clothes and succulent plants.
There will be tables and chairs aplenty in the food court and elsewhere and there will be some shade from the trees.
There will also be a monster raffle with a number of prizes on the day; tickets will be $2 each, with the total prize value approaching $1000 and expected to increase.
TatFest will be held on Sunday, March 5, from 10am to 4pm at Mactier Park, Hogan St in Tatura.
■The Tatura Lions Club is encouraging people to register for the Cheesecake competition by phoning Glenda McLeod on 58241398.
